We strive to give each runner a wonderful race day experience! Your race entry includes:
- Custom finisher medal
- Finisher shirt
- Food and refreshments at finish
- Race day shuttle to the start
- Boston Marathon qualification opportunity
The Tunnel Marathons all follow the same schedule. Each race begins promptly at 7AM at the Hyak Lot at Snoqualmie Pass. In order to ensure a stress free race day.
We recommend that you be parked at the Race Parking area ready to catch the shuttle bus before 6AM. See the Directions page for the specific parking location. The race start time is 7:00 am.
- Pre-race day - to be announced
- Race day at the start 5:30 - 6:45 AM
We offered two different ways to pick up packets. One on the Saturday before the race at Nike Factory Store in North Bend, WA and also on race day at the start at Hyak between 5:30 - 6:45 AM. Each runner will receive 2 bags for your gear drop (1 left at the start; 1 left at the station after the tunnel exit-for your headlamp, flashlight, jacket, etc.) There will be Bib tear-off tags for each bag. We will ask each runner add their emergency contact info on the back of their bib.
All runners must park in North Bend to meet the shuttle buses (1.8 miles from the finish). Parking will be available at the Twin Falls Middle School/Terex Lot, 46910 SE Middle Fork Road in North Bend. Buses will be continuously leaving the Middle School starting at 4:45 AM. The last bus will leave by 6:10 am. You must take the shuttle bus to the start; parking is not available at the start line*
Shuttle buses will be running from the finish line to return runners to the Terex Lot.
*Repeat - There is no available parking at the start line. There are no buses returning to the Starting Line. Any runner attempting to park at the start line will be disqualified from the race, no exceptions. While start line parking has been allowed in past years, the race has grown significantly larger and the facilities at the start area are not large enough to support race day parking. Please plan accordingly and take the buses from the main parking area in North Bend.
Can I be dropped off at the Start?
Yes you can be dropped off at the Start Line. While your driver parks at the Hayak lot they need to display a Discover Pass. See the Directions page for the drop off location. No vehicles are allowed to overstay in the Hayak lot during the race.

Frequently asked questions
+ Where can I stay?
Lodging and restaurants are available in North Bend within a few miles of the marathon parking, bus pickup and finish areas. The two or three closest motels have mixed reviews, though we haven't heard any complaints from our runners. The North Bend Motel (425) 888-1121 ($60-74/room night, 2.3 miles from the finish) is within a mile or so of restaurants in downtown North Bend. The Edgewick Inn (425) 888-9000 ($115-125 plus taxes per night(standard single and double rooms), 1.5 mi from the finish) is located at I-90 exit 34 about four miles from downtown North Bend. You'll also find a few B&B's in the North Bend area, including the Roaring River B&B with four rooms ($130-215, 4.2 miles from the finish area) and the The Log Cabin with two rooms ($125-150, 3.6 miles from the finish area). There are more motels in the Eastgate area of Bellevue along I-90 just east of I-405, which is about a 20 minute drive from the finish. There are also several motels at Snoqualmie Pass, which is a mile or two from the start and about 20 minutes from the finish. However; we discourage people from staying at the Summit at Snoqualmie because we don't have buses that go back to the start. There are two National Forest campgrounds within about 10 miles of the finish area - Tinkham and Middle Fork Campground. Go to this site and search for campgrounds near "98045". RV and tent camping are also available at the private Snoqualmie River RV Park and Campground in nearby Fall City, also about 10 miles from the finish area
